This a significant change from my prior statements about what can be publicly shared.

Going forward, BeagleBoard.org kindly asks beta developers to refrain from publicly posting photos and videos of the beta board. We also ask to please not make public blog posts about the beta board or post public reviews of the beta board.

Public documentation may be necessary and beneficial when submitting upstream patches to support the beta BeagleV Starlight board but we would like such content to focus on technical details. If there is a need to provide context about what the board is, then please link to the public beaglev-starlight/readme 1.

BeagleBoard.org would like to ensure that all communication outside of this private beaglev-beta developer group makes it clear that this board is a beta prototype version of the BeagleV Starlight. There will be hardware changes before it is launched as a product, in part, to incorporate feedback we receive during the beta development program.

We are concerned that press such as embedded industry news websites might pick up on external communication about the beta board and incorrectly characterize it as a BeagleBoard.org product instead of what it is, a limited quantity beta prototype intended to kickstart upstream software development.
